How to get your Instagram data
Download an official export from Instagram Accounts Center, then upload the ZIP here. Your file is processed only in your browser.
- Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Export your information → Create export → Export to device.
- Customize the export: choose what to include (make sure connections / followers & following are covered), date range, format (JSON is best; HTML works too), and media quality, then start the export.
- Enter your account password when asked. Your request appears in Accounts Center; the archive usually takes about 10–15 minutes to prepare.
- Download the ZIP when it’s ready — leave it zipped and upload it below, or paste lists manually if you prefer.
Step-by-step: detailed walkthrough
- Open accountscenter.instagram.com while signed into the Instagram account you want to analyze.
- Click Your information and permissions.
- Click Export your information.
- Click Create export, then choose Export to device (download to your phone or computer).
- On the customization screen:
- Select which categories of information to include. For this tool you need the data that contains followers and following (under connections / similar).
- Set the date range for the export.
- Choose format: JSON is recommended; HTML is also supported.
- Pick media quality if you are including media (not required for follower lists).
- Click Start export (or the equivalent confirmation button). When prompted, enter your Instagram account password to confirm.
- Your export request will show as pending in Accounts Center. Preparation often takes around 10–15 minutes; timing can vary.
- When the export is ready, download the ZIP file. Upload
that ZIP below without unzipping it — we read
connections/followers_and_following/followers_*andfollowinginside the archive. Alternatively, open those files yourself and paste into the text boxes.
